First Aid Training
We offer the latest First Aid Courses, training you in procedures for adults and children, including Anaphylaxis and AED:
FAW (First Aid at Work) 3 days
This First aid at work three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies and provides the participant with a set of practical skills to become a confident first aider within their work environment. The successful candidate will be awarded a FAA (First Aid Awards Ltd) Level 3 award in First Aid at Work. This qualification meets the requirements of the Health and safety regulations (First Aid) 1981.
Paediatric 2 days
This course is recommended to individuals who are working with children and infants. This two-day course meets the guidelines and criteria identified by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. The successful candidate will be awarded a FAA (First Aid Awards Ltd) Level 3 award in Paediatric First Aid.
FAW (First Aid at Work) requal 2 days
This two-day course is to enable existing first aiders to extend their qualification in line with the regulations for a further three years. The course may be taken within three months of the first aider’s certificate expiry date but must be taken within 28 days of the expiry date. This course covers the sane syllabus as the three day course and informs delegates of any changes that may have arisen since their last first aid course.
EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) 1 day
This Emergency First aid at work one day course covers a range of first aid emergencies and provides the participant with a set of practical skills to become a confident first aider within their work environment. This course is ideal for low risk and smaller environments. The successful candidate will be awarded a FAA (First Aid Awards Ltd) Level 2 award in Emergency First Aid at Work. This qualification meets the requirements of the Health and safety regulations (First Aid) 1981.
Defibrillation and CPR 1 day
This course will enable the delegate to use the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) competently and with confidence. This training course also covers resuscitation and choking procedures. The successful candidate will be awarded a FAA (First Aid Awards Ltd) Level 2 award in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation.
Anaphylaxis Awareness
This course is for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to allow them to identify and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively. This course is recommended for First Aiders, healthcare professionals and those in a high risk environment where such medication is available.
Oxygen Therapy
This training course enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively to casualties who are suffering from a breathing problems. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and be able to identify safety issues with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is recommended for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualties.
